Panicum virgatum ‘Shenandoah’
A standout ornamental grass prized for its vibrant foliage transitions and airy, elegant form. In spring the leaves emerge as a stiff, upright clump of steely blue-green. As the season advances, the tips slowly blush red, and by mid-summer the top portions deepen into burgundy and wine tones. From summer onward, delicate panicles of reddish-pink spikelets float above the foliage, giving the plant a light, cloudlike presence.
