Potentilla fruticosa ‘Dakota Sunspot’

A delightfully reliable and long-blooming shrub that brings a cheerful glow to gardens with its profusion of golden flowers. Over a compact mound of fine green foliage, it produces deep yellow blossoms-about an inch across- that carpet the branches from late spring all the way until the first killing frost. This extended bloom period makes it especially valued in northern or cold climates where the growing season is compressed.
