A vigorous, self-pollinating grape vine derived from the classic Concord but developed to be largely seedless. It produces fragrant, greenish flowers in late spring, which give way to clusters of dark blue-black grapes in late mid-season. The fruit is well-suited for fresh eating, as well as jams, jellies, juice, or baking. Compared to the original Concord, it ripens about a week earlier and has slightly smaller clusters and berries.
