Malus ‘Haralred’ (‘Lautz’)
A newer, improved selection of Haralson developed in Minnesota.
Fruit is redder, earlier, and sweeter than Haralson while retaining the good qualities: juicy, tart, firm, good keeper, extremely hardy.
Late season blooms.
Harvest late September.
Haralred is reported to be fireblight resistant; however, we have experienced problems with fireblight in the nursery in the past. (Will not cross-pollinate ‘Haralson’) #7 gallon
