This Quick Fire Hydrangea, trained to a single stem with a head, begins to bloom in June (often a month earlier than other varieties) with very showy, large conical white flowers which mature to pink.
The flower heads dry easily when cut, and are perfect for use in arrangements. Trim only in early spring as it blooms on “new wood”.
Prefers moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade. The rounded tree spreads 8-10’ wide. The hardiness of this tree form of hydrangea in our area is unknown at this time; best planted in protected micro-climates until there is more information confirming its hardiness in our area.
