This grafted tree has the same fine features of the shrub-form Miss Kim lilac; graft heights usually vary between 3 & 4’. It makes an excellent globe for accent or interest in a landscape. Purple buds open to single, fragrant, pale lilac flowers later than most other lilacs.
It has bigger leaves than Dwarf Korean lilac.
Beautiful red fall foliage.
If pruning is desired it should be done right after flowers are spent (blooms on old wood); also remove spent blooms so tree puts its energy into growth and setting flower buds for next year rather than producing seed.
Height depends on root stock on which it is grafted.
