Caragana, Siberian Peashrub

A rugged, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub or small tree featuring bright green, pinnately compound leaves that create a light, airy texture in foliage. In late spring, it produces clusters of fragrant yellow, pea-shaped flowers along the branches. These flowers develop into slender pods that mature in summer and eventually twist open with a snapping action, dispersing seeds.
