Helictotrichon sempervirens
A striking ornamental grass prized for its cool-toned foliage and architectural form. It grows in neat, rounded clumps of narrow, steel-blue blades that arch outward in a fountain-like habit, creating a textural, sculptural presence in garden beds. In late spring to early summer, tall, oat-like flower talks rise above the foliage, bearing delicate tan panicles that contrast elegantly with the blue leaves.
