Molina caerulea ‘Variegata’
A delicate and decorative clumping grass prized for its striped foliage and airy floral display. The leaves are edged and streaked with creamy white or pale yellow, creating soft striping that adds visual interest even before flowering. In mid to late summer, thin stems rise above the foliage bearing open, ethereal panicles tinted purple, which eventually fade to golden or tan. The effect is light and graceful, especially when backlit by late afternoon sun.
