Salvia nemorosa ‘May Night’
A benchmark perennial that stands out for its robust structure, strong floral presence, and overall garden performance. In late spring, it launches upright spikes of deep violet-blue blossoms that rise elegantly above its aromatic grey-green foliage. These dense flower spikes catch the eye and provide vertical movement in garden beds. Though its principal bloom is in early summer, gardeners often coax a second or partial flush of blossoms by deadheading spent flowers. This prolongs the visual impact into midsummer and beyond.
