Summercrisp Pear is one of the hardiest pears.
In 1985 the University of Minnesota introduced this variety.
It has early May blooming and is a fire-blight resistant plant with the fruit ripening in mid-August.
Harvest the fruit when it’s green with a red blush and still very firm.
This fruit can be stored for up to 2 months.
